This is the second and final album from obscure European progressive rockers Cumbrian Spacewoman, originally released in 1982. Again, like the first album, this is a digitally remastered and ultra-limited edition. Apparently, there were only two people left in the band at the point when this album was originally made. Galakticon only has six tracks and is short on running time - clocking in at just over 18 minutes - but is all the better for it. Atmospheric, rocking tracks that wouldn't sound out of place on late 70s/early 80s Doctor Who or some other weird 1970s sci-fi. A must-own for collectors of obscurities, progressive rock, electronica, sci-fi fans and UFO freaks (check out the nutty track titles!).
